Year 1963

Gaomi Electric Appliance Factory was established, laying down the groundwork for electric motor technologies. In 1988, this was renamed as Weifang Electric Machinery Factory.

Year 1987

Mr. Sun, then the factory director, left Gaomi Electric Appliance Factory to establish Gaomi Towel Factory, which served as the structural predecessor to the multi-billion RMB Sunvim Group.

Year 2008

Weifang Electric Machinery Factory was formally acquired by Sunvim, giving birth to Shandong Sunvim Electrical Machinery Co. Ltd. and accelerating industrial motor production lines.

Year 2022

Standard permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) require a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) with appropriate software to align the drive output with rotor position. However, we can design line-start permanent magnet motors (LSPMSMs) with a cage rotor design that allows direct-on-line starting, combining induction startup with synchronous operating efficiency.
